This has to be one of the most odd stories I have seen and it is right here in our fair state of Nebraska.
The Stanton County Sheriffs found a helicopter in a field and there was no one in sight. Granted it was not able to be flown because it hit some powerlines, which was kind of the giveaway that something knocked out the power. But the helicopter had obviously been sitting in t field for a bit. It had some damage, but not too bad, other than the motor was in operating order.
Because aircraft are all registered, the owner was found, but no one is quite sure why he ditched the helicopter and didn’t tell anyone. It isn’t like you can hide one of those things in an open field.
Regardless, Nebraska, we are moving closer and closer to Florida every day. WTF?
