The Saunders County Sheriff’s Office says a Lincoln man was killed in a one vehicle crash early Friday morning near Valparaiso. Investigators say a 2006 Buick Rendezvous
was northbound on Highway 79 around 5:15 a.m. when he struck a cow that was in the roadway. After hitting the cow, the sheriff’s office says 48-year-old Terel Johnson’s vehicle went off the road and hit a tree.
Johnson was the only person in the vehicle and died at the scene. The investigation is ongoing and so far there are no known witnesses to the accident.
