Look, I fully know where my fear of clowns comes from. It’s that creepy ass bastard Pennywise in Stephen King’s IT. I have read the book 8 gazillion times and been fine, but Tim Curry’s damn clown? No thank you. I watched the mini-series when I was eleven and now I’m scarred for life. Has that stopped me from watching the newer iterations of IT? Nope. Did I watch them through my fingers? Absolutely. Was I freaked out trying to find a header photo for this blog? You’re damn skippy. Am I excited about the news a bit ago about a prequel series back in Derry? A little bit yes and a little bit no. I’m always excited to return to more Stephen King, but now I’ll be forced to watch more of that damn clown!
