Capital Humane Society Pawsitive Impact Project Expanding

The Capital Humane Society expanded community resources are now available for income-qualified pet owners in Lincoln & Lancaster County through their Pawsitive Impact Project program.

It’s a community resource program that started in May of this year.  The program offers income-qualified pet owners access to affordable, preventative veterinary care and a pet food & supply pantry.

Effective immediately, the program now offers a variety of voucher resources, including canine spay/neuter assistance, grooming assistance, behavior & training assistance and landlord pet deposit assistance.

Pet owners qualify for the program based on their income. Any pet owner on an assistance program such as SNAP, Medicaid, Medicare, WIC, housing assistance, childcare assistance, etc. qualify for this program.

Vouchers are available for the following amounts:

Canine Spay Under 50 lbs – $150.00  Canine Neuter Under 50 lbs – $150.00 Canine Spay Over 50 lbs – $250.00 Canine Neuter Over 50 lbs – $175.00 Canine Grooming – $50.00

Feline Grooming – $35.00 Behavior & Training – $250.00 Landlord Pet Deposit – $200.00
