Nebraska football saw a second player taken in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft Friday evening.
With the 60th overall pick, the Cincinnati Bengals took cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt. He joins Cam Jurgens who went nine picks earlier to the Eagles.
An Alabama native, Taylor-Britt is the first Husker corner taken since Stanley Jean-Baptiste was a second round pick in 2014. He played in 42 games during his career, including 28 starts. In 2021, Taylor-Britt earned second-team All-Big Ten honors.
With the second round complete, the third round takes over for the rest of the night. Rounds four through seven are Saturday.
