The USA has been listed at the top (or close to the top) of every list of the most obese counties in the world. As such, we have TV shows like “My 600 LBS Life”, Weight Watchers commericals and Hydroxy Cut ads every where.
So the goal for many of us is to drop a few pound and not sacrifice the things we love. Basically, it is all about portion control…kind of. I mean we have places that have all-you-can-eat pizza, even menus that include calorie counts (many of which have calorie counts that are higher than the average recommended daily allowances)
Ah, then there is beer. Many people don’t think that beer will add as much weight. That is until you remember there is that thing called a beer-belly, which is not just a fun name, it is reality. Then we get the “light” beers or the “low calorie” beers from everyone like Coors, Bud, Natty, et al. Hell, even Heineken got in the game and raised the bar with no alcohol beer…which by the way doesn’t help with weight loss.
BUT…Heineken has raised the bar even higher with a beer that no one, so far, has come close to…it has no calories, no alcohol…and no beer?
They have created Virtual Beer.
So before you think this is some kind of joke, it isn’t…but it kind of is. It can only find one place Decentraland, which is a virtual game that is akin to Sims, but it something a bit more.

While this is an escape from reality…and Lord knows we can use the escape, a beer free beer, is still kinda weird.
