For the second straight year, the Nebraska football team will wear black jerseys for a home game. The Cornhuskers will unveil the black uniforms for the Oct. 31 game against Washington. Nebraska will also wear black helmets for the contest, with “Huskers” in red script on either side. The jerseys feature red shoulder strips similar to those added to the base home and away uniforms, the numbers in white and “Nebraska” in red across the front.
The Huskers wore black uniforms for last year’s home game against USC, a 21-17 loss.
