A major change in the late June weather pattern is expected to move into the region beginning this weekend.
Warmer temperatures and increasing humidity will bring Saturday high temps into the mid-to-upper 80s, with low-to-mid 90s on Sunday. With humidity levels increasing and dew points likely in the 70s, heat indices will likely be 100 to 105 degrees both Sunday and Monday.
