The Lincoln Police Department says a man who was reported missing and was the subject of a search, has been located safely. LPD announced at 2:00 Tuesday afternoon that 42-year-old Daniel Maurer had been found.
He was last seen at the U Stop at 110 W. ‘O’ Street around midnight on June 22 wearing the black windbreaker and jeans. LPD had asked for the public’s help in finding Maurer because he has mental health conditions that require medication.
Police did not say where or who found Maurer.
