The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office has released information about an unusual classroom incident at Raymond Central Junior & Senior High last Friday. “The investigation revealed that the teacher made several inappropriate and disturbing comments,” says LSO Chief Deputy Ben Houchin.

“So much so, that several students left the classroom and found another teacher to let them know.” Houchin says  deputies interviewed 25 sixth graders during the investigation. “44-year-old Samuel Carman of Lincoln was that substitute teacher involved and he has been cited and released on two counts of disturbing the peace.

Houchin says Carman was initially joking before his comments turned very odd.  I’m sure he wishes he could take out some of those not intelligent comments he made to them.” Carman is no longer employed by Raymond Central Public Schools.
