“I’m very curious about everything and I’m looking forward to the whole club and all the volleyball fans, as well as to getting to know the Czech Republic and Brno better,” Sweet said in a team release.
As a freshman, Sweet played in every match during the Huskers national championship run. Over her four years in Lincoln, she tallied 970 kills and 282 blocks while helping Nebraska to a record of 102-18.
Sweet turned down the opportunity to return to Nebraska for an extra season of eligibility, as granted by the NCAA.
