Nebraska guard Dalano Banton has declared for the NBA Draft to test the process, all while keeping his eligibility intact should he decide to return to Lincoln.
In a social media post, Banton said, “These past 2 years at Nebraska have put me in a position to chase my lifelong dreams of being an NBA player.”

Banton played in all 27 games last season, including 22 starts. The 6-foot-9 Canadian led the Huskers in both rebounding (5.9) and assists (3.9) per game, while adding 9.6 points a contest.
The NBA Draft is July 29. Players wishing to keep their collegiate eligibility have until July 7 to withdraw.
