Family and friends continued the search for 35-year-old Tyler Goodrich over the weekend at Pioneers Park. Lancaster County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Ben Houchin says there has been no trace of Goodrich since he left his home near SW 9th and West Burnham around 7:45 p.m. on November 3.
Houchin says Goodrich’s husband, Marshall Vogel, is fully cooperating with the investigation. “Last Thursday, Vogel came to the sheriff’s office and was 100 percent cooperative. He did clear up some things we needed to discuss with him.”
He says those discussions didn’t yield any new information and they are turning over every stone to find Goodrich. Houchin says Vogel is a witness and not a person of interest. “He is the last person that we know of that has seen Tyler.” Goodrich had left his house after an argument with Vogel. Houchin says there is no indication that a crime has been committed.
Goodrich was an avid runner and Houchin says he ran 5-7 miles a day. Knowing that he could cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time, Houchin is asking residents of southwest Lincoln and Lancaster County to check their home security cameras around November 3rd.
Houchin says Goodrich apparently took his wallet and phone with him, but his car remains in the garage. The FBI has offered to help in the investigation.
