Nebraska senior setter Bergen Reilly earned Big Ten Setter of the Week in the first week of the season, her 14th career setter of the week honor. That came after Reilly was named MVP of the Players Era Showcase, at which the Cornhuskers were 2-0 with sweeps over UNLV and Texas. Reilly helped Nebraska hit .315 for the two matches. Against UNLV, Reilly notched a double-double with 32 assists and 10 digs. Sunday against No. 2 Texas, she tallied 30 set assists and a pair of aces.
The Huskers return to action Wednesday in Reilly’s home state, as NU takes on South Dakota State. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m., with pregame coverage at 6 p.m. on KLIN and B-107.3.
