Lincoln Police are asking for the public’s help identifying suspects in two separate June 27th cases. LPD’s Becky Keller says the first case involves a hit-and-run near 63rd and Knox. “Video footage from the neighborhood was reviewed and a small black Toyota Yaris was seen fleeing from the area.”

The car is believed to have a county license plate beginning with a number and should have noticeable front-end damage, including a missing or partially missing front bumper.

Police are also looking to identify a man connected to a narcotics investigation at the U-Stop near Northwest 1st and West Fletcher. “A man came into the store to make an alcohol purchase around 10:15pm,” Keller says. “While pulling out his credit card from his wallet, the man dropped a baggie with a white powdery substance inside.”  Keller says the substance tested positive for cocaine on initial testing. He is described as a Hispanic man, approximately 30 years old. He arrived in a dark colored Ford Explorer and had several tattoos on both arms.
