Lincoln Police are investigating a high-speed crash that injured two people late Tuesday night at 33rd and ‘O’ Streets. Lt. Jason Goodwin says officers and LFR crews responded around 10:15. “The preliminary investigation determined a Ford F150 along with a Ford Escape were traveling next to each other westbound on O Street at high speeds.”
Goodwin says an Acura was eastbound on ‘O’ Street making a left turn onto 33rd Street. The three vehicles crashed in the intersection. Debris from the crash damaged two other cars in the area and a nearby business window.
Goodwin says the drivers of the Ford Escape and the Acura were taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is continuing and police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has video of the incident to contact the Lincoln Police Department at 402-441-6000.
