A terrifying ordeal for a worker at the Phillips 66 near 14th and Pine Lake Road late Friday night. LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says she was robbed and assaulted while taking out the trash around 11:00.
“The 43-year-old Lincoln woman told officers an unknown man wearing a black shirt and black pants punched her, took her purse and ran away,” Thomas says. “She had bruising on her face and pain in her leg from falling to the ground.”
The total loss of the purse and items inside is estimated at $930.
