Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that portions of Capitol Parkway and the Billy Wolff Trail are now closed for culvert repairs. The closures are as follows:
- Capitol Parkway closure includes one westbound lane from “D” to “E” streets.
- Billy Wolff Trail closure includes the underpass at the 27th Street and Capitol Parkway. The trail is expected to reopen the week of Monday, May 22, weather permitting. Access to the Billy Wolff Trail will be maintained using the street crossing at 27th Street and the Rock Island Trail.
Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around these closures. Current information on street closures is available at lincoln.ne.gov/closures.
