City of Lincoln Announces Service Changes for Thursday Due to Cold

The City of Lincoln today announced closures and service changes for Thursday, February 20, due to inclement weather.

The changes are as follows:

  • All Aging Partners Senior Centers in Lincoln and Lancaster County will be closed. The Aging Partners Fitness Center at Victory Park will also be closed and all other senior center activities cancelled.
  • The Bennett Martin Public Library will open at 10 a.m. All other branches will open at noon.
  • The Lincoln City Libraries Bookmobile will not be in service. The bookmobile was scheduled to visit the Washington Street Senior Center in Grace Lutheran Church, 2225 Washington St.; Yankee Hill Village, 8401 S. 33rd St.; and the Denton Community Building, 7115 Lancaster Ave., Denton.
  • The Air Park Community Center, Belmont and Calvert Recreation Centers will open at 8 a.m. All other centers will operate on regular schedules.
  • Gated trails at the Pioneers Park Nature Center will be closed.
