A big celebration at WarHorse Casino on Monday as the ribbon was cut on the new expansion. “The entire southside is a new simulcast and sportsbook area,” says Lynne McNally, CEO of Nebraska Horsemen. “It’s got luxury seating, it has tons of tables and as many tv monitors as you can fit in one large room.”
McNally says the highlight of the expansion is the addition of ten new table games. She tells KLIN News people have waiting two years for the opportunity to play games like black jack and roulette.
“They told me that it’s great that you’ve got the slot machines and flashing lights, but I don’t want to press a button. I want to sit down, use strategy and see what I can do. It’s a lot more fun for me.” McNally says in January they will be adding craps tables.
They have also added 400 new slot machines. McNally says they will now be moving forward on the third and final phase of construction, which will include a 135,000 thousand square foot full gaming floor and the addition of four new restaurants.
The final piece of the project will be the addition of a new hotel.
