By Chase Porter Sep 19, 2024 | 11:41 AM

Beginning Friday September 20, the Jamaica North Trail about one-half mile north of Pioneers Boulevard will close daily between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for debris removal at the bridge over Beal Slough.

The trail is expected to reopen by Thursday, September 26, and will remain open during evenings and weekends.

Trail users are advised to plan alternate routes and to follow signs at the worksite.

Trails adjacent to the work area within Wilderness Park will remain open, but connections from Wilderness Park to the Jamaica North Trail in this area will be closed. The Jamaica North Trail south of Pioneers Boulevard, and north of the intersection of the Jamaica North Trail and Salt Creek Levee Trail junction will remain open.
