By Chase Porter Jun 17, 2024 | 11:38 AM

Enjoy the film some critics have called the apex of animation this Friday, June 21, projected on the side of the Lincoln Airport’s old Cold War Hanger: The Boss Baby.

Starting at dusk on the airport’s open green space on the west side (3801 North West 34th Street), attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and snacks for a family-friendly movie night.

Parking is first come, first serve starting at 6:00 PM, and food trucks start lining up around 7:00 PM.

Sponsored by Assurity, all proceeds will go to the Junior League of Lincoln Diaper Bank. Diaper donations will go to support families in need. They are currently accepting open packages. Their biggest needs are larger sizes- 4, 5, 6 and pull-ups. They also accept individual packs of wipes. Cloth diapers cannot be accepted.

You can also donate to them through their Paypal and Amazon Wishlist links.

The event is free to the community, but organizers ask that attendees register here.

Restrictions: No campers, tents, or alcohol allowed. Food and non-alcoholic beverages permitted.
