-Flavor Flav is kind of parody of himself. Granted he has been part of the most influential groups of all time with Public Enemy. I still love “911 is a Joke”
Flav really never dropped his PE persona, even when he was banging Sly Stallone’s ex, Bridgette Nielsen, on Surreal Life and their subsequent follow-up TV show Flavor of Love.
Things later got really weird, when Flav got a bit political and Chuck D, pretty much the brains behind Public Enemy, kicked Flav out for his endorsement of Donald Trump. (Kind of weird, since he wasn’t kicked out for his multiple arrests for drug use and DUIs, but I am not gonna weigh in on that. That’s their business.)
But I gotta give Flavor Flav credit, despite his parody image, he can be serious when he wants to be, even respectful. This past weekend he sang the National Anthem at the Hawks-Bucks game. I won’t say it was good, but he tried.
YEAH BOY.
S/O @FlavorFlav for the flavorful anthem! pic.twitter.com/O1UT9sYTZG

Granted the guy can’t sing for shit and the person who thought this was a good idea, needs to have their head checked, I will say this is much better than the Anthem that was sung buy Rosanne Barr.
And dare I say the legendary Fergie abortion. Whoever told her that the National Anthem is a torch-song should be shot.
I know Flavor Flav isn’t a singer, but he did as good of a job as hip-hop artist who didn’t use autotune. Props to him. Or in the words of Flavor Flav “YEEEAAA BOOOY”
