The arm of St. Jude, a relic of “The Apostle of the Impossible,” will be available for viewing in a Lincoln church tomorrow.
This will be the first time this major relic of St. Jude has left Italy. Wednesday, September 27 from 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm, the relic will be available for public veneration at St. Michael Church located at 9101 S 78th St. with Mass at 6:00 pm.
Relics are physical objects that have a direct association with the saints or with Jesus Christ.
Father Carlos Martins, the director of the ministry Treasures of the Church, will accompany the relic.
Jude is identified as “the Lord’s first cousin,” he was one of Christ’s twelve apostles.
The relic will also make stops in Fremont and Omaha September 28-29.
