The permit fee for Nebraska State Parks will increase under a plan approved by the Game and Parks Commission last week.
The annual licensed vehicle fee will increase from $30 to $35 for Nebraska-licensed vehicles and from $60 to $70 for vehicles licensed outside Nebraska. Game and Parks reports that of the 38 states that have resident annual state park entry permits, only six have fees lower than Nebraska’s.
