June 21st officially marks the beginning of the summer season. LincOne Federal Credit Union invites you to commemorate the day with the LincOne Food Truck Fest, located at their central Lincoln location, 2500 N St.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and admission is free. You can stop by for lunch or dinner, or both and support local food vendors, and enjoy music courtesy of Froggy 98.1 and Red 94.5.
The Food Bank of Lincoln will be present and accepting any non perishable goods donations. If you can’t make it to the event, donations bins will be set up at all three Food Bank locations in the month of June. Additionally, Community Action Partnership of Lancaster and Saunders Counties will have a booth set up, where you can stop by and learn more about their initiatives in helping communities across those areas.
Want to help keep the LincOne staff cool on the first day of summer? A dunk tank will be set up from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., $1 = 1 throw, and all proceeds go to Children’s Hospital & Medical Center.
