The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a Tornado Watch until 11:00 Wednesday evening for the Lincoln and Lancaster County area along with several other counties in southeast Nebraska.
Storms that develop this evening could produce heavy rain, hail up to 3″ in diameter, 75 mile per hour gusts and a few tornadoes. Another round of strong to severe storms is expected to develop this evening into the overnight hours.
The National Weather Service says storms could move over the same areas throughout the night, which could lead to flooding.
