Why Would You Hold In 388 Burps And Farts A Year?

By Steve King Sep 27, 2022 | 9:21 AM

If there is one thing that most of us know, most farts don’t smell bad to you, but when they do, they are heinous. You and I both know, fart and burps are funny…if you do them right and set the stage correctly.

Can you believe that there are excuses that almost half of us hold it in restaurants and less than 50% hold it in when they are traveling (like on airplane or bus).

Let’s be honest a great burp is worth it’s weight in gold. I mean, there competitions where people practice to win trophies for this shit. There is nothing like the preview to puke. It’s loud, it’s obnoxious…and if done right, it will scare the shit out of anyone and everyone around you.

Then there is my favorite, the fart. It is the sound of a turd honking for the right of way.  As George Carlin once said, it’s “a shit without the mess”. I will admit, we lose out on the joy of a lot of farting during the day. When you are in a meeting, when you are in a professional setting of any kind. Interviews would be top of the list. (Then again, if you can and they still hire you, that is a job that you should keep forever).

There are so many ways to enjoy your air biscuit. Like crop dusting:

Dog farts

If you laughed at any of these videos, not only are you a sick fuck, but you have an excellent sense of humor.

With all of these examples, why in the hell would you hold them back. Aside from how much fun you can have with them, it gives you relief…and it is healthy. Yes, healthy, smelling your own farts actually helps you build your your immunity, reduces bloating, shows that you have a balanced diet, warns you of a number of health issues…and makes you laugh, which has been proven to help mental health.

Think about it, an air shit, can help alleviate some symptoms of depression.

So the question is why an how often you actually hold them back…well, as  you would expect, there is a video to explain it all:
