A downtown Lincoln bar known for it’s craft beers will be closing it’s doors at the end of September. Matt Myers is the owner of the Happy Raven just north of 11th and O Street.
Owner Matt Myers said in a Facebook post that it was with a heavy heart that he announces the closing of his bar. “Finances and decreased sales since Covid have greatly factored into the decision,” Myers says. “This decision was not easy, but I will always be proud of what my team has accomplished and it’s time for me to move on to the next journey.”
“I want to thank all of my staff throughout all of the years. Without each and every one of you, The Raven would not be what it was. I also want to thank all of the patrons that have meant so much to me.”
Myers says gift cards will be honored through the last day. He says their final Oktoberfest celebration will be this Saturday the 24th.
