Our Veterans give all for our freedoms and way of life in the USA.
Many come home with the scars of war in many ways. Personally, I feel it is out duty to do our part to support them in all ways possible from helping them in the workforce to medical help, regardless if it is mental, physical and/or financial.
There was a time, when I was much younger, that because of my financial situation that I couldn’t do anything to help, no matter how much I wanted to. The older I got, I realized that volunteering is one of the many ways to help. I also realized that the organizations that are designed to help our Veterans aren’t asking for you to empty your bank account, it can start change in your pocket. It can be a couple of bucks here and there.
After all, every dollar counts…and raising money can be fun, as well. it is a powerful way for all of us to do something good, meet new friends and hang with people who have the same goal…help the men and woman who have come home with Exoskeletal (spinal cord) injuries
