I am torn, there are people who dumb shit that make you think, “how in the fuck did you think of that?” and “Why didn’t I think of that?”. Then you come to the realization, “That was really stupid”.
A guy in Omaha was busted for filling his pool with a fire hydrant.
Now it is one thing if he was being blatant my using a fire hose (which would have taken no time at all to fill the pool.), but this guy somehow McGuyvered, or had, some kind of coupler that reduced the flow of the water, so it could run through a garden hose. Something tells me, if he hadn’t done this he would have been caught faster.
Well, unfortunately for Mr. Pool Filler, someone called 911 and the police busted him. Supposedly, he apologized to the officers…which of course makes everything ok, right?
No, he wasn’t arrested, but he was given a ticket for unlawful use of a fire hydrant. How much that ticket was for, we don’t know. One would think it should be in the amount of the water he stole, but you and I both know that wasn’t the case.
Regardless, this guy has full pool and one hell of a story to tell at his backyard pool parties this summer.
