Lincoln Police say bike patrol officers contacted two people sitting in a vehicle on N Street between 13th and 14th around 11:00 Saturday night.  “Upon contact, officers observed an open container of alcohol in the center console cup holder and a clear plastic baggy containing a white powdery substance between the legs of the driver, identified as 38-year-old Nathaniel Jordan,” Captain Todd Kocian says.

A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted in which officers located 7.7 grams of methamphetamine, .96 pounds of marijuana and another 19.1 grams of marijuana in one of Jordan’s pants pockets.

Jordan was ultimately arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana more than an ounce but less than 1lb and possession with intent to deliver.  Jordan was also cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia and open alcohol container in vehicle.

The passenger of the vehicle was cited/released for open alcohol container in vehicle.
