Constipation is never fun. You try and try and just can’t go. There are medications for it, then it all loosens up. But if you are an elephant, there isn’t much you can do. Sure there are meds, but just like human’s it doesn’t always work. When that is the case, you have to go to a professional (doctor) to help out.
You have to agree, when you DO have to go to a doctor, the results aren’t fun for anyone involved. But I don’t think any doctor has experienced anything like what a zookeeper would experience.
In this case, a couple of altruistic zookeepers in China wanted to help their beloved elephant friend get through its difficult moment of constipation with a hose and couple of hands.
The results…well…explosive.
