I tell people all the time that I don’t have friends. While everyone laughs at me, thinking that I must be exaggerating. Well, it’s true, for the most part. My friends all live in other places like Nevada, Colorado, Texas and Florida. So, sure I have friends, but none here in Lincoln.
Before you either have pity for me, or laugh at me, hold on a moment, I have been lucky enough to not have contracted COVID. What do the two things have in common? According to a doctor in South Korea:
“The adults who have not yet been infected with Covid-19 are those who have interpersonal problems,”
Now, I have lots of issues that I discuss with my therapist every week, interpersonal problem isn’t one of them…at least that we discuss.
Because I haven’t gotten this disease, according to the media is because I have a certain blood type; I have an above level of vitamin D; I take Pepsid, Zinc and vitamin C, daily and I wear a mask (only when I absolutely HAVE to). I also like to spend time alone (though my wife and kids interrupt that on a regular basis), which is supposed to do me well, when it comes to shelter-in-place and social distancing. (not that give to shits about either of the latter 2.)
But according to this particular doctor, I haven’t gotten COVID yet, is because I am a loser.
The doctor’s Tweet has since been removed. But I will point out that I have been around plenty of people who have had this unfortunate illness and have yet to contract it. However, there are others who are hermits who have:

I will say, even though I take a lot of vitamins and do (most) of what the CDC suggests, it looks like that fact that I suck is the best COVID repellent of all.
