Additional COVID-19 testing is coming to the Lincoln area. Bryan Medical CEO John Woodrich made the announcement this morning and said it will be an RV like unit that can travel to rural hospitals as well as to certain locations around Lincoln to provide service to people that may have transportation problems or cannot get to a testing location.

Bryan staff will be outfitted with Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) and the testing site, which is expected to be active this week, will act like a drive-up testing location.
Woodrich gave the example of the Crete Medical Center which is a Bryan facility as one of the possible locations that would be served by the mobile unit as well as other rural hospitals that are members of the Heartland Health Alliance.
